The best cushioning and protection for post-injury training

I got a stress fracture at the beginning of March, therefore I haven’t been running much lately. I manage to slowly restart running 3 weeks ago, and every run I did was with my new ASICS Gel Nimbus 25. I can say they are one of the best shoes I ever used for protection and cushioning, I managed to finish all my workouts with minimum or zero pain, despite the physiotherapist advised me I would have still had pain in my first runs. These shoes are soft, energetic, and comfortable. It is important to choose the right size though, which for me is a 0.5 more than my normal shoe size. ASICS Gel Nimbus 25 are perfect for neutral runners, which do not tend to underpronate or overpronate.
