Whip up this epic (and oh, so easy) TREAT THIS SEASON.

Coconut is the taste of the tropics, the taste of summer! And, as the days get shorter and colder here in sunny South African, there couldn't be a more creative (and refreshingly delicious) way of serving it.

Try this easy, low-cal sorbet made with pineapple, tropical fruit of your choice and coconut water.

Method

  1. Pre-freeze the pineapple and mango (smoothie style), this is the key to the 'sorbet.'
  2. Simply add all of your ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Easy as you like... .
  3. You could serve immediately (it would be more of a dessert smoothie), or you could allow it to set for an hour or four in the freezer rendering it more of a true 'sorbet.'
  4. Garnish with desiccated coconut, enjoy.
